Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most employer-provided healthcare plans. However, at Hospice of Laurens County, ability to pay will not be a barrier to receiving needed care. Thanks to generous community support, and our non-profit mission, our services are available to anyone in our community who needs us.

For individuals enrolled in Medicare, hospice is a benefit that they are entitled to have. The Hospice Medicare Benefit completely covers the cost of all hospice services, medical equipment, supplies, and medications related to the hospice diagnosis as long as these items are included in the hospice plan of care.
